A little history
This was my first time working with Red Cedar. The wood comes from a family friend’s land. I picked the lumber for this board because its figure is gorgeous and unusual, and I wanted to showcase the brilliant knots and swirls in the figure.
Cedar is a stable, lightweight wood. And it smells delightful.
Don’t worry about putting scratches or knife marks in it—these boards are meant for use.
