A little history
This was my first time working with Birch, which I thought was a nice companion to Black Walnut. The wood comes from family friends—the Black Walnut from cut offs from a different project, and the Birch from another friend’s property.
We have a similar kind of bread board that we use all the time in our house. It’s perfect for slicing up bread and also looks great for serving.
Don’t worry about putting scratches or knife marks in it—these boards are meant for use.
