Maple Liquor Cabinet

This little custom liquor cabinet was my third commission. I made it for dear friends who wanted something simple to store their bottles in that they could easily move around their kitchen when needed.

We talked about the design and they wanted it in Maple, so Dad and I picked out a few boards for them to see. They weren’t sure if they wanted natural edges, but after viewing the boards, decided to keep the natural edge in front.

The interior has only one shelf. I spent some time testing out different size bottles to make sure it was easy to get them into and out of the cabinet. A little UX testing and prototyping goes a long way.

There are casters underneath, allowing the cabinet to easily be wheeled around.
